Sound Modem updated by UZ7HO

This is just an update on the Sound Modem developed by Andrei UZ7HO. This software is for Windows only but it works really well.  Andrei is now up to version 1.10. see the link here for the zip file. (His website is still only showing version 1.05.)

Mag-Loop - Controller- Part 4

The Mag Loop Controller  has an option to add an SWR Bridge into the equation.  I am nearing the completion of this addition. The SWR kit is by kitsandparts.com.

SM1000 Firmware update to Ver. 4

I have just updated my SM1000 to firmware version 4. There have been some signification updates over the last year or so.  If you have an SM1000 it is well worth moving to version 4.

A Loon Balloon spotted from my ADS-B reciever

I have just received a signal from a Loon Balloon which was 562Km away and at an altitude of 18Km (61,000 ft). I think this may be a new distance record!

Update (5.57pm) now right on 600Km away and still going!
