IC-9700 Release Date and Pricing

Two websites are reporting that Icom's IC-9700 is to be released in February 2019.  Both these sites are in Europe and show the price as €1,995.00 at the HamShop in the Netherlands and £1795.95 from Icom UK  respectively.  This placed it at an estimated price of $3100 ( more accurately $3200) Australian.

The Icom IC-9700 is the long awaited successor of the IC-910.  Currently on VK Classified, secondhand IC-910's are selling for between $1800 and $2200 (depending on the condition and options installed).

The IC-9100 which is a HF, 6m, 2m and 70cm Base Transceiver (with optional 23cm and D-STAR) is selling for around $4000 from Australian retailers.
