The Royal Australian Air Force celebrated its 100th birthday on the
31st March. As part of these celebrations a special call-sign was
allocated and I was invited to RAAF Base Darwin to be part of this
special event.
Stuie and Joel (both serving RAAF members), along
with Simon and myself, enjoyed setting up the station and sharing our
hobby with a number of interested RAAF personnel. There were even a few
on-air contacts made. Always a Bonus!
Not sure about that cake knife.
